The Different Stages of Cancer and How to Prevent It

Is it possible to escape from cancer? Doctors specify the stages of cancer as 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4. How cancer stages are defined may depend on the doctor, doctor's studies in medical schools, hospital, and country.

## How Cancer Stages Are Divided

We can say that cancer staging depends on the following:

* location of the cancer
* doctor's studies in medical schools
* decision of the hospital
* health department of different countries
* the way cancer cell is spread around the body

Usually, in stage 0, cancer has just started.

In stage 1, the cancer is visible through CT scan, and some kind of symptoms may start to manifest.

In stage 2, the cancer tumor is larger than in stage 1.

In stage 3, the cancer has greater tumor size, and/or starts to spread to nearby organs. Various medications are usually applied.

In stage 4, the cancer has spread to other organs or throughout the body. The cancer is usually at terminal stage and no reasonable medications are available.

How do you find cancer stage 0 before it gets worse? The simplest way is through "blood test". Blood test is simple and is the cheapest way in modern medicine. A simple blood test can tell you a lot of information, especially for health-concerned and elderly people.
