RUDRAKSHA THERAPY

RUDRAKSHA THERAPY

Rudraksha is the seed of the fruit of Rudrakaha tree which
can be found largely in Nepal. From time immemorial, Rudrakasha
has been used by Indian Sadhus, rishis, sanyasis and others.
They used to wear Rudraksha mala (garland) and also used it
while doing japam (meditation).Although they lived in dense
forests, away from human habitation and medical help, they
remained disease - free because they always wear the Rudraksha
mala (garland).
Gautama wore a crown of Rudrakashas (Rudraksha kireetam or Crown)
and eventually attained gnana to become Buddha. The rings that are
found on the statue of the Buddha are not hair as is generally
believed but the crown of Rudrakshas.
Rudraksha acts on body and mind.Rudraksha is very effective against
hypertension, heart diseases, diabetes etc. This coupled with regular
use of medicines and diet restrictions prescibed by doctors gave
good results.Rudrakasha was found effective when tried for a minimum
period of 40 days.

Rudraksha therapy is as old as Ayurveda.Only Sadhus and Sanyasis
knew about its medicinal properties and usage. They let it remain a
secret.
Rudraksha mala is popular now thanks to religious men, political
bigwigs and other luminaries who wear it prominently.
Late Indira Gandhi(prime Minister of India) used to wear it too.
